N/A This grade is essentially an oil-hardening steel. It can be water quenched, but great care should be exercised when this is done. Oil quenching temperature is between 1475° and 1550°F. A wide range of mechanical properties may be obtained by tempering at temperatures between 400° and 1200°F. |
